French fries - or French fries - are super tasty, but not necessarily healthy. They usually contain a lot of salt and fat, so you may not eat them as often as you'd like. Fortunately, it is very easy to make your own fresh sweet potato fries. Because you fry it in the airfryer or oven , it is much less greasy than the fries from the snack bar or from the freezer, and you can completely control the amount salt .
Frying sweet potato fries crispy can be tricky, though. The important thing is not to cut the fries too thick and not to fry too much at once in the airfryer. This can cause the sweet potato fries to steam and make them a bit limp instead of nice and crispy. They are then still very tasty, only you need a little more imagination to see it as a good alternative to regular fries or French fries.

Preheat the airfryer 5 minutes to 200°C. No airfryer? Then preheat the oven to 230°C
In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, bell pepper, pepper and salt. Mix in the sweet potato and make sure all the fries are covered
Airfryer: Spread the fries on one layer in the airfryer. Fry the sweet potato fries in 15 minutes crispy
Oven: Spread the fries on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the sweet potato fries in 25 minutes crispy
