The saltiness of Parmesan cheese is always very tasty on a plate of pasta or pizza. Fortunately, there are more and more plant-based alternatives available. But did you know that it's also very easy to make yourself?

This is a very simple way to make a vegan substitute for Parmesan cheese. There are countless similar recipes Online, all slightly different. It's not all that close either: a little more of one or the other doesn't make much difference. Instead of cashews, this also works great with almonds.

For this purpose, recipe you need a chopper or food processor . Grind it only briefly, for example with the pulse button, and check regularly if it already has the desired consistency.

You can keep this plant-based substitute for Parmesan cheese in a sealed container or jar for another 3 to 4 weeks. So you can easily get more of the recipe so that you always have a portion in stock.
