Want to make your own roasted bell pepper, but don't want to spend too much time on it? This recipe for air fryer roasted bell pepper takes only 15 minutes. It hardly gets any easier.

Roasted bell pepper is a wonderfully flavorful addition to many dishes. Put it in a wrap, add it to a salad, or use it as an ingredient for vegan cheese sauce. Or incorporate it into harissa or muhammara to add extra flavor to your dish.

Gegrilde paprika is kant-en-klaar te koop in een pot (waar overigens niets mis mee is), maar het is ook heel makkelijk zelf te maken. Zeker als je een airfryer hebt. Met dit recept maak je binnen no-time zelf geroosterde paprika, klaar om aan de heerlijkste gerechten toe te voegen.

Tips

  • You can keep the roasted bell pepper in the refrigerator for a few days
  • Want an extra soft result? Then put the bell pepper in a bowl after baking and cover with aluminum foil. Let the bell pepper continue to steam for about 15 minutes . Optionally, you can also peel the bell pepper
  • No airfryer? You can also roast the bell pepper in the oven . Then count on 20 to 25 minutes at 180°C. Flip the bell pepper halfway through

for 1 bell pepper

  • 1
    paprika steel, zaadjes en zaadlijsten verwijderd en in kwarten
  • olive oil
  • pepper and salt
  • 1 clove
    garlic

Preparation

step 1

Coat the bell pepper with oil, pepper and salt. You want the entire bell pepper to be covered. This is easiest with your hands

step 2

Place the bell pepper on the grid of the airfryer. Make sure the bell pepper is spread over one layer and the pieces do not overlap.

step 3

Grill the bell pepper at 180°C in 15 minutes until done
